History
Our journey in man-made stone world begun short after a coincidental encounter with Donald Crites in 1996 Virginia, USA. Mr. Crites had a small yet very successful decorative artificial stone veneer manufacturing plant whose products were surprisingly similar to natural stones. Two years after this lucky yet defining moment, we were able to produce our first man-made stone in Turkey, with the assist of Mr. Crites.
2022
As natural resources become increasingly scarce, renewable energy projects are becoming increasingly important. We have made an investment in solar energy to meet a significant portion of our energy needs for production. We are proud and excited about this project, which contributes to a sustainable environment.
2018
We expanded our reach to North America by setting up DÉCORATION STONEWRAP INC in Quebec, Canada with hopes of serving a wider range of customers.
2016
In 2016, we started to reap the fruits of our one-year work by combining our 18 years experience in the industry with Italian aesthetic and the experience of Rastone SPA. Rastone is active in natural stone and marble market for 3 generations in Italy & in around countries and has been a Stonewrap® distributor since 2004. We added many brand new textures to Stonewrap® product line and developed a new color system therewith. It is now much more difficult to distinguish Stonewrap® manufactured stone veneers from natural stones. Numerous alternatives are possible when they are blended together thanks to their incredibly harmonious colors and textures.
2015
Stonewrap® raised the number of its manufacturing lines to three by building an automatic cutting-edge technology manufacturing line in 2015. Thus, while increasing its capacity significantly on one hand, it also took its manufacturing quality one step further on the other hand.
2010
In 2010, our company acquired the Brick Cladding manufacturing plant and technologies from the fifty-year-old company DeRyck NW-Belgium, one of the pioneers of diversities in Manufactured Stones and Bricks in Europe. This acquisition redounded us many new models and new technics in cladding brick manufacturing.
1996
The idea of manufacturing Manufactured Stone Veneer in Turkey came up when I coincidentally met the owner of Rock Replicas of Virginia Donald Crites in 1996 in Virginia/USA. Crites had started manufacturing his own invention Manufactured Stone in 1961 which had no analogue yet. He improved his technique over the years, and the products in his small but very successful decorative artificial stone veneer manufacturing plant were unbelievably similar to natural stones. Two years after our encounter with Crites, we produced our first manufactured stone cladding in Turkey with his assistance. In addition to its amazing naturality, its lightness and readiness for use made this product a very good idea.
Crites also pioneered today’s biggest manufacturing firms with the techniques he developed. We provide manufacturing services with the brand name Stonewrap® which was started by using the know-how and experiences of Donald Crites. Stonewrap® today raised its quality above world standards by investing in advanced technologies and by progressing through the path that Donald Crites has found.
1987
Atlantis Engineering and Construction Inc. was founded in 1987 to provide its services in construction industry and constructed buildings in many regions of Turkey and has been a pioneer in the industry particularly with its self-designed buildings.
